A ViaSat Surfbeam 2 Pro modem designed for rack-mounting, with multiple powering options and high cooling efficiency.

The standard ViaSat Surfbeam 2 Pro Modem is housed in a domestic enclosure and requires a 30VDC power source. This is not ideal for mounting in equipment racks or SNG vehicles.

The BWS rackmount SB2 encapsulates the modem in a standard 1RU chassis and employs a highly efficient cooling system, enabling the modem to operate in ambient temperatures up to 50°C.

Multiple powering options are available, with seamless switch-over should one of the power sources fail. There are 2x power inputs and you can choose any combination of:

• Mains AC
• 9-36V DC
• 18-72VDC
• 100-200VDC
