The Sapphire-Demod5 is designed can be used alongside the Sapphire-RXD5 to increase the number of RF inputs in a system to 16 or even 24, or it can be used as a standalone unit with decoding happening locally via the ASI output or remotely using the IP streaming options . Eight-way (optional 16 way) Maximum Ratio Combining diversity inputs ensure reception in the most difficult RF environments whilst configurable LO frequencies and variable power ensures support for a variety of external down converters. Ultra-Low Latency H.264 HD 4:2:2 decoding is standard for legacy support
